Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has reportedly agreed on a switch from FC IfeanyiUbah to Enyimba.
The seven-time capped Nigerian international was alleged to be on the move abroad.
However, the 29-year-old may have opted to continue his progress in the domestic scene.
“Ezenwa has agreed to terms with us,” the People’s Elephant media personnel told CompleteSports on Friday.
“He will join us in Kano next week where we’ll be playing in a pre-season tournament ahead of the Super Six competition.
“He is an experienced goalkeeper and a good addition to our team. We hope his arrival will bring luck to the team and help us challenge for honours next season.”
Ezenwa will challenge Theophilus Afelokhai and Ghana international goalkeeper Fatau Dauda for a starting berth in the team.
Enyimba will be his sixth local club after Ocean Boys, Sharks, Heartland, Sunshine Stars and FCIU.
