John Obi Mikel’s Chelsea will go to Everton in the FA Cup quarter-finals, while Arsenal and Manchester United will both have home games if they get through.
Chelsea, who won the FA Cup when Hiddink was last in charge in 2009, secured their progress with a 5-1 win over a much-changed Manchester City side at Stamford Bridge on Sunday but face a difficult test at Everton, who beat Bournemouth on Saturday.
Arsenal, looking to win the competition for the third year in succession, will have a home game against Odion Ighalo’s Watford, who beat Leeds United, if they come through a replay against Hull City, while Manchester United will host West Ham, who won 5-1 at Blackburn Rovers, if they get past Shrewsbury at the New Meadow on Monday night.
Reading’s reward for beating West Brom is a home game against Crystal Palace, who progressed courtesy of a 1-0 win at Tottenham.
