Actor Zubby Michael on Tuesday, February 1 announced that he got a plot of land in Abuja as birthday present.
According to the 37-year-old, the gift came from a fan known as Nana Atiku.
Some media reports subsequently claim Nana is the daughter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Sharing a picture of him and Nana on Instagram on his birthday, Zubby wrote: “Best cake day gift ever. Nana Atiku just gifted me a plot of land in Abuja as cake day gift. I really appreciate this; thanks and God bless.”
Nana also celebrated Zubby on Instagram, writing: “Happy birthday to my favourite actor. A man with a heart of gold. May happiness never depart from you.
“May God keep opening your eyes as you bless others. I’m always proud of you. Happy birthday my brother. May Allah bless your new age.”
Appreciating her in the comment section of the post, the celebrant wrote: “Thanks dear.”
Qed.ng recalls that Nana and some of her friends visited Zubby in a hotel in Abuja last year.
The actor uploaded a video of the visit on Instagram with the caption “Nana Atiku in the building.”
Zubby expressed delight at the presence of the ladies, joking that he might not go back to Lagos because he had been captured by their beauty.
Contrary to some media reports, Nana is not Atiku’s daughter.
Spokesman of the former vice president made the clarification in a text message sent to Qed.ng in the morning of Thursday, February 3.
Asked to confirm if Nana was his principal’s daughter, Mr. Ibe said “No she is not. Her name is Nana Yahaya. She is so committed a supporter of Atiku Abubakar to the extent that she was nicknamed Nana Atiku.”
