Actress Faithia Williams has expressed appreciation for the support she received during her father’s burial ceremony.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the movie star shared photos of herself adorned in traditional attire, complete with a gele and handbag, as she reflected on the event.
In her post, she wrote, “Grateful to everyone who joined us for my father’s burial in Lagos. Your presence, prayers, and support mean the world to us. Thank you to my family, friends, colleagues, and fans for your love and kindness.
“May Almighty God bless you all. With heartfelt thanks, FATHIA WILLIAMS BALOGUN.”
The funeral celebration for Sir Williams Onoughwujovwo Ikperha, Faithia’s father, took place on Sunday, July 21 and was a grand affair held in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The event attracted a host of celebrities, adding a touch of glamour to the occasion.
Prominent figures in attendance included MC Oluomo, Laide Bakare, Iyabo Ojo, Lizzy Anjorin, Seyi Edun, Yewande Adekoya, Bimpe Akintunde, Bimbo Thomas, Mercy Aigbe, and Kazeem Adeoti.
Faithia’s ex-husband Saidi Balogun was also present.
