Nigerian rapper, actor and comedian, Falz, had the Convention Centre at the Eko Hotel and Suites locked down on Wednesday with his highly anticipated The Falz Experience concert.
One of the highlights of the night was when Simi joined the 27-year-old on stage to the excitement of the audience.
The duo displayed a good chemistry as they performed the songs ‘Foreign’ and ‘Soldier’ in a manner that reminds fans of their collaborative album titled Chemistry.
Other performers at the show include Davido, Wande Coal, Yemi Alade, Phyno, Reminisce, Reekado Banks and Ycee.
Falz’s proud parents, Mr and Mrs Femi Falana, walked the red carpet with his older sister, Folake Falana, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Adekunle Gold, DJ Spinall, Orezi, Basketmouth, Ik Ogbonna, Banky W and Adesua Etomi, Frank Donga, Chigul and many others.
“This is my first ever headline show, I am so much excited, Falz declared.
The turnout of celebrities at the concert did not come as shock as the singer had earlier stated in a recent press release that the show will incorporate different elements of his art, with support from the many colleagues he had collaborated with in the past.
The show ended with Falz and Davido performing ‘Bahd Baddo Baddest’ in the absence of Olamide who was not present at the event.
