Rapper and actor, Falz, is set to headline the fourth concert in the Trace Live series.
The July 13 concert is titled ‘Becoming Falz TheBahdGuy’.
Born Folarin Falana, the ‘Jeje’ rapper will be taking the wheel of the live concert series that has, in the past, been headlined by the likes of Omawumi, Flavour and Adekunle Gold.
The event will take place at the Terra Kulture Arena in Victoria Island.
In a post to Instagram on Sunday, Falz said, “Come and witness the journey!!! #BecomingFalzTheBahdGuy #TraceLiveFalz at @terrakulture JULY 13.”
Falz is one of Nigeria’s most sensational rappers, who has over the years won plenty of fans with his dynamic style, witticism, and topical songs, which cut across the spectrums of the Afro hip-hop genre.
His recent discourse-provoking hit ‘This is Nigeria’ is his latest contribution to socio-cultural and political issues in the country.
The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) threatened to take legal action against the entertainer but later backtracked, urging the government agencies responsible for censoring films and videos to act on the matter.
In an interview with SoundCity FM last week Falz said: “I expected the reaction, I expected discussion, I expected controversial discussion.”
