Rapper and actor, Falz, has had a minor surgery on his leg.
A picture of the bandaged leg was uploaded to Instagram on Thursday.
The 26-year-old, who has adopted the moniker, Falzinho, said it was “something light” and that he “will be back in a few weeks”.
It is believed the lawyer turned entertainer sustained the injury while playing football.
His interest in the beautiful game spiked in August after PSG signed Neymar from Barcelona in a 220 million euro deal.
He made allusion to that in his post, joking, “PSG preparing to make record bid for me post-recovery. No be only @neymarjr fit collect 500k per week”.
An Arsenal fan, Falz recently said in a video clip that all his children – irrespective of gender – must play football and earn the kind of money Neymar is getting.
Falzinho is a play on the names of famous Brazilian footballers.
Last month, he released a single titled ‘Something Light’ featuring YCee.
