The family of Dr Chinelo Megafu, who was killed in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack on March 28, has announced burial plans.
Megafu’s body arrived in Lagos State via Arik Air last week.
The dental surgeon was shot by the terrorists who attacked the train. She tweeted after the shooting, “I’m on the train. I have been shot. Please pray for me.”
According to her obituary released by the family on Monday, Megafu will be laid to rest in Lagos on April 21 at the Ebony Private Cemetery, Ikoyi after a funeral mass at Sheperdhill Baptist Church, Obanikoro.
Megafu graduated from the University of Port Harcourt in 2016. She did her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme at the Kaduna State Dental Centre and worked with St Gerrard’s Hospital, Kakuri.
According to a friend of hers, Megafu had perfected plans to relocate abroad for a better life before her death.
