Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode and his former wife Precious Chikwendu on Tuesday celebrated their triplets Ragnar, Aiden and Liam on their birthday with seemingly strong words on social media.
Ms Chikwendu, who says she has been separated from her children since last year, said in her Instagram post, that she would continue to fight for them.
“It was a fight physically and medically to sustain your conception and another fight to cater to you as a mother would regardless of ‘status quo’ and I am glad and willing to fight on as you are worth every fight. I’ve placed you all in the hands of the almighty, knowing that anything given to him for keeps is safe till I have you all back in my loving arms,” she wrote.
The ex-beauty queen shares same birthday with the triplets.
In his own social media post, Mr Fani-Kayode said nothing could come between him and the children.
“We are one and nothing can change that. Nothing can ever come between us. I am honored and proud to be your father and you have given me an additional reason to continue to live, to fight on, to overcome every hurdle and to excel,” he wrote.
“For you I will do anything. For you I will endure anything. For you I will fight anything. For you I will take anything.”
The former minister and Chikwendu have another boy, Aragon, their first child together.
Their union broke down last year over allegations of domestic violence among others.
