Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the death of winner of 2013 Face of Democracy Transformation, Nneka Onwuzuligbo.
News of Ms Onwuzuligbo’s death became public on Wednesday after a failed buttocks enlargement surgery.
Onwuzuligbo was said to have been operated on by an unlicensed American Surgeon based in Lagos identified simply as Dr Anu.
The failed surgery reportedly left her in coma since December 2018, before she died in February 2019.
The surgeon, reports say, is now on the run.
Fani-Kayode, in a tweet on Wednesday, said: “Just heard about the ex-beauty queen who died during a buttock enlargement procedure in Lagos. So Sad. And what a terrible way to go. The surgeon that did the operation is now on the run. Those that are not satisfied with their buttocks must beware. Vanity upon vanity! RIP.”
