Fani-Kayode revives feud with Church of Satan

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has revived his feud with the Church of Satan weeks after they clashed over a comment which he made about a former prosecutor in New York, US, Linda Fairstein.

A Twitter user had written on September 29, 2018, that “there is no god but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

In response to the tweet, the Church of Satan alleged that “Muhammad had a child bride.”

Mr Fani-Kayode, responding to the over nine-month-old tweet by the Church of Satan, said on Wednesday that the church should stay out of the way of other worshippers.

“What is your business with Islam, Christianity, Judaism or any of the other great monotheic faiths? I advise you to respect yourself, stay in your lane, stick to the devil and leave the servants and children of God alone!” he said.

In another conversation on Monday between the Church of Satan and a Twitter user, the church denied championing the fight for right to abortion and healthcare.

“We have nothing to do with it. It’s entirely a fabrication of Christians,” the church tweeted.

Fani-Kayode accused the church of ‘denying the truth and passing the buck’.

“Still denying the truth and passing the buck? When will these childish lies stop? Those that worship and prostrate before a goat’s head shall end up as goat-head pepper soup. You once tweeted to me that God’s word ‘doesn’t work’. I say, ‘It surely does’. Time will prove me right,” the ex-minister wrote on Wednesday.
