Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has expressed gratitude following a thanksgiving service held in his honour at the Faith Hill Prophetic Assembly in Piwoyi, Abuja.

The 64-year-old shared photos from the event on his official Facebook page on Monday, describing the service as “powerful and inspiring.”

“It was an honor and privilege for me to share my testimony at my Thanksgiving Service which held at the Faith Hill Prophetic Assembly in Piwoyi, Abuja yesterday,” he wrote.

Fani-Kayode also extended appreciation to the church leadership and congregation for their warm reception.

“I thank Archbishop Emmanuel Jatau, his Bishops and Pastors and his wonderful congregation for receiving my team and I so warmly and for showing us such love and kindness,” he added.

“It was a very powerful and inspiring service. Glory be to God.”

The politician, who has faced a series of legal and political challenges in recent years, did not disclose the full details of the testimony he shared during the service.

However, the event appeared to be one of gratitude for what he described as God’s faithfulness through the highs and lows of his journey.

In February, the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, acquitted and discharged Fani-Kayode of charges related to medical report forgery.

Justice Olubunmi Abike-Fadipe ruled that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) failed to establish a prima facie case against him, noting the prosecution’s inability to link him directly to the alleged offences.

The verdict marked the end of an 18-year legal battle during which the former minister faced multiple charges brought by the EFCC.
