After a messy breakup which dragged into the courts of law, former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has welcomed his ex-lover Precious Chikwendu into his home for the first time in two years.
Mr Fani-Kayode and Ms Chikwendu have four boys together. Their strained relationship kept her away from the children for two years and she was charged with attempted murder of the ex-minister.
Fani-Kayode on Friday posted photos of Chikwendu’s visit on social media. The former beauty queen had met severally outdoor with her children prior to this visit.
The former minister wrote, “For the first time in two years, totally unexpectadly and out of the blue and after she took our sons Aragorn, Ragnar, Aiden and Liam out for yet another beautiful outing, Mama Aragorn came to the house to visit with us.
“For two years she and I had not seen or spoken to one another but on Saturday afternoon we spent no less than four hours together in which we talked, laughed and shared some beautiful moments.”
Fani-Kayode, who trained as a lawyer and now has a new lover Nerita Ezenwa, described Chikwendu in his post as a “lioness”.
“It was the dramatic return of a great & beautiful queen who was resplendent & who shone as brightly as the morning star,” he noted, adding that it was “triumph for all lovers of peace”.
