Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode had friends, relatives, business partners and his lover Nerita Ezenwa over at his house in Abuja on Tuesday for the in-house birthday party of his son Aragorn.
The boy is his first son with his estranged wife Precious Chikwendu who recounted on Instagram how she was allegedly abused by the former minister.
Mr Fani-Kayode posted to Instagram on Wednesday pictures from the party.
“Spent the whole of yesterday with my beautiful son Aragorn and his brothers celebrating his birthday. The entire house was filled to the brim and he received so many gifts,” he said.
“People streamed in through the day right up until the evening and it was filled with love, peace, joy and blessings. We started with prayers and ended it with joy. I thank God for all those that came, called, wished him well and prayed for him,” he added.
Fani-Kayode did not mention Chikwendu in his list of those who love Aragorn.
“Your siblings, stepmother, aunties, uncles, loved ones, nurses, nannies, friends, teachers, school and classmates, household and I love you so much,” he said.
The ex-minister is in a legal battle with Chikwendu, a former beauty queen, for the custody of their four boys.
