An old video of the former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode making remarks against the All Progressives Congress (APC) has resurfaced on social media.
The video resurfaces at a time Mr Fani-Kayode, acting on his new position as head of new media of the APC presidential campaign council, has been heavy on criticism against the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
In the video recorded before the 2022 presidential primaries, the ex-minister speaks about the Igbo Presidency, stating that though the Igbo Presidency would be a good thing for the country, and the people of the south-east, the APC would not even support a southern candidate like Tinubu.
“He (Tinubu) has made the biggest mistake of his life. They will not support him, their position is to keep the Presidency in the north and even if he manages to clinch the nomination of the APC they will now shift their support to another party that will field a northern candidate,” Fani-Kayode said, prior to defecting to the APC from the PDP in September 2021.
His critics have described him as the “most inconsistent” politician in modern day Nigeria. See below:
