Aragorn Fani-Kayode, son of a former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode, has been promoted to the status of a yellow belt in Taekwondo.

His parents witnessed his elevation on Saturday at the National Stadium, Abuja.

Fani-Kayode said his son’s elevation to yellow belt holder came after “rigorous and interesting examination and demonstration of technique, style and power.”

The ex-minister said he attended the event with Adein, the second of Aragorn’s three younger brothers, and their mother Precious Chikwendu, the minister’s estranged partner.

In one of the photos, Aragorn and his mother display a technique in Taekwondo.

Commenting on that technique, the former minister said Aragorn and Chikwendu make a dangerous combination.

“As can be seen in the second shot on the slide, he and his mother make a dangerous combination. It was a great event that brought us much joy.

“Congratulations son! So proud of you. From strength to strength you shall go!” said Fani-Kayode.

Chikwendu, actress and model, also congratulated her son on Instagram. “We passed stage one to next belt. Congratulations booboo,” she wrote.
