Fans of actress Joke Silva got emotional on Friday after the actress posted a video of a former director-general, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) late Prof. Dora Akunyili speaking about bad goverannce.
Joke posted the video on Instagram following the Owo attack and other crisis that have thrown the nation into mourning.
“Enough said. Thank you @taradurotoye for the picture and video,” she captioned the video.
Fans took to the comment section of the video to acknowledge the Dora’s impact as they paid tributes.
“Blessed woman, one of the best there ever was. Continue to rest in peace Lady Dora, you said and did what you could,” Adefunke wrote.
Afetuga wrote: “May her gentle soul continue to Rest In Peace. She was an icon and will forever be cherished.”

Prof Akunyili died on June 7, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.
She was aged 59.
