A picture of self-styled ghetto soldier, Daddy Showkey, and controversial businessman, Ifeanyi Ubah, on Facebook has drawn the ire of some of the former’s fan.
The popular Galala musician posted the picture on Wednesday on the social media website with the message: “This is the #TAN master. Do you know him? Wetin bi him name?”
In the picture, an excited Showkey, with a green and white pro-Goodluck Jonathan sash around his neck, stands next to Ubah who is the brain behind the multi-million dollar Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN).
Among those who criticised the musician is one MP Onowu who wrote “you don sell the struggle…when you enter AJ Last? Any federal presence? Yet you dey support our man wey no send us…no be the way forward be that oo Allah.”
Hugo Nnadikwe fired: “The name go put food 4 our table? Wetin all this people wey u dey support politically don do 4 AJ? Abi na just ur own interest u dey fight 4 ni! I rest my case.”
Ajagzy Okunrin Ogun has an advice for the musician who has not released anything close to a hit in over a decade.“Showkey no be every s**t sensible fly must follow,” he began.
“Ifeanyi may be wealthy but he is a thief without honor, someone wey dupe him brother Coscharis wey stand for am, nearly wreck that one. Showkey for people mind you pass Ifeanyi in every way, no let am rub s**t for your body. You fit delete my comment as you delete the last one when I tell you say make you dey careful with all this politicians wey you dey identify with. I be your brother and you know say I no fit lie to you, na people God use to bless you, be careful with identifying with the enemies of the people. Nothing wey people dey chop wey no dey finish.”
Showkey who traded Ajegunle (AJ) for Ojodu in the outskirts of Lagos many years ago, was not available for comment.
