Fans of singer Kizz Daniel have congratulated him on his hit song ‘Buga’ becoming the most googled Nigerian song in 2022.
Google West Africa spokesman Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade made this known in a statement on Thursday.
The list compiles the moments, people, topics, events, and places that capture the world’s attention each year.
Kizz teamed up with fellow artiste, Tekno, for the release of the new track which became an instant hit because of the easy dance moves that followed the song.
Since its release in May, 2022, ‘Buga’ has caught the attention of both young and older demographics and it has also enjoyed domestic and international acceptance.
Celebrities that have danced to the song include Ngozi Ezeonu on her birthday, Ebele Okaro, Rita Edochie, Kemi Korede, Ngozi Nwosu, Toyin Adegbola, Funke Akindele and Caroline Danjuma.
Following the success of the song, fans took to social media to hail the singer over his latest achievement.
