Elizabeth Daniels, older sister of late actress Favour Daniels, has said the latter would be alive if she had received prompt and adequate medical attention after her boat accident.
The bereaved stated this in a message posted on Instagram on Friday night.
“Will my family ever be ok again
“Jesus, you had compassion on the broken widowed woman and resurrected her son, don’t we deserve your compassion?
“I have so many questions, my heart is broken.
“Give me back my sister, these pains are too much,” Elizabeth began her post.
She described her late sister as “an amazing young lady, a lover and a believer of the Trinity” who planned “to get married someday and raise her own children to love and know the Lord.”
Describing the circumstances of Favour’s death Elizabeth wrote: After her boat accident, there was no emergency response, it was after an hour before she made it to the hospital already dead.
My sister was still awake after the accident in pain crying for help, but help never came.
If she was in a country that had value for life, a well-structured country with the basic amenities for her citizens, she would have had a chance.”
Favour died after a boat accident on February 5 at the age of 26.
She was buried on Monday, February 20 as confirmed in an Instagram post by actor Chris Okagbue.
