Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has approved the renovation of the state’s secretariat in Ado Ekiti.
Acting head of service, Peju Babafemi, made this known on Wednesday after inspecting the secretariat.
Mrs Babafemi said the renovation was part of the governor’s efforts at providing conducive work environment for the state’s civil servants.
The inspection, according to her, was a follow-up to a similar one made by Fayemi in January.
She added that the government would work out modalities for the renovation.
She also said she was pleased with the dedication of workers to their jobs.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Tourism and Values Orientation, Adekunbi Obaisi, said the visit was to ascertain the state of facilities and working conditions of the civil servants.
