Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has described his wife, Olabisi, as the “angel of my life, my biggest fan and greatest cheerleader” as she clocks 57.
The governor wrote in an emotional love note posted on social media on Thursday.
He said her birthday is always a time to reflect on their ‘unique’ journey and an opportunity to let the world know ‘how much you mean to me’.
“My gratitude to you is constant and immeasurable and my prayer is that as you grow in age, may the Lord continue to endow you with wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the service of humanity. Amen,” he added.
The couple celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last September.
They met while they were students at the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University.
Fayemi and wife have one son together, Oluwafolajimi Fayemi.
