Former governor of Ekiti State Ayo Fayose has met a man who has a striking resemblance with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Mr Fayose on Saturday shared a photo of himself and the man on Twitter whom he said was fondly called Obasanjo of Lagos by his admirers.
“In Lagos yesterday, I met this man. He is popularly known as Obasanjo and I joined his admirers to call him the OBJ of Lagos,” the PDP chieftain wrote.
Fayose had been at loggerheads with the ex-president over the role the latter allegedly played in having him impeached as governor back in 2006.
Following the chaos that ensued in the state after the impeachment, Obasanjo declared a state of emergency in Ekiti and appointed Brigadier General Olatunji Olurin (retd.) as the sole administrator.
Olurin died on Saturday after a brief illness at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on April 14, 2015 quashed Fayose’s impeachment on the grounds that he was not legally removed.
