Crossdresser Abuja Area Mama

Crossdresser, known widely as Abuja Area Mama, has been discovered dead in the Banex, Wuse II area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The crossdresser was found lying motionless along Katampe-Mabushi Expressway on Thursday morning.

The tragic discovery comes after he shared a video on Wednesday evening where he appeared in a black dress adorned with white petals —the same outfit he was found in.

The unsettling scene was reported early Thursday, leading to a swift response from local authorities.

FCT commissioner of police Benneth Igweh has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.

According to a statement released by the FCT Command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, the police received a distress call on August 8, 2024, at approximately 07:40 am, alerting them to an unidentified individual lying unresponsive along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway.

A team of detectives was dispatched immediately to the location.

“Preliminary investigations revealed that the individual was a man dressed in female clothing, with no means of identification found on him,” Adeh stated.

The body was promptly transported to Maitama District Hospital where medical personnel confirmed his death.

The news of his sudden death has sparked reactions especially from his fans and followers.

This comes three days after Lagos-based crossdresser Bobrisky regained his freedom after serving a six-month jail term for mutilating the naira.
