Producers of Gidi Blues have released behind the scenes videos and pictures from the making of the movie, which is set to premiere on June 4 with notable Nigerians and thespians in attendance.
The premiere, which holds at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos will feature performances and appearances from some of Africa’s finest talent including Banky W, Gideon Okeke, Hauwa Allahbura, Lepacious Bose, Daniel Lloyd, Tina Mba, Buki Wright and singer/songwriter Aduke.
Gidi Blues is a feature film project produced by CUT24 Productions featuring a stellar cast and crew of the best and brightest of Nollywood.
It is described as “an unusual love story in a Lagos-state-of-mind.”
Founding producer of TINSEL and three-time Head Judge of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), Femi Odugbemi, produced and directed it.
Filmed in iconic Lagos locations like Idumota market, Makoko, Victoria Island, Isale Eko, Lekki, Freedom Park and Broad Street, Gidi Blues showcases Lagos and the unique energy of its people.
