Nollywood actor and star of the hit film King of Boys Titi Kuti popularly known as Ade Tiger has said that the late Afrobeat singer Fela Kuti is not his father.
The actor made this known in an Instagram post on Sunday, saying that he is related to Fela Kuti but the latter is not his father.
“Clearing all doubts on this subject; Yes we are related, same family tree, but Fela Kuti is not my father. I however have greatly adored him since childhood as a visionist who was very outspoken through his art, and never allowed his voice silenced at any cost,” he wrote.
Titi Kuti became popular after starring in King of Boys, produced and directed by Kemi Adetiba.
The actor, who portrayed a loyal servant to the protagonist Eniola Salami played by Sola Sobowale, has received praises from fans and colleagues for how well he interpreted the role.
