Singer Terry Apala has disclosed that he would not follow the trend in allowing his female fans turn to his bedmates.
In an interview with PUNCH published on Sunday, Terry Ejeh best known as Terry Apala said he finds it weird how female fans turn to bedmates.
He said: “I find it weird looking at how female fans move from being fans to becoming bed mates. I have learnt to never allow that happen. I only pamper them. My female fans are precious to me.”
When asked the challenges he had faced as an Apala artiste, he said: “The genre of music I do is called Apala hip-pop and I have never got carried away by another genre of music. There is nothing like challenges in my life. I believe God’s time is the best.”
The ‘Lock Up’ singer added that one of the lessons he learnt during the coronavirus-induced lockdown was the need for Nigerians to cultivate the habit of saving.
“Generally, I know we have learnt many lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, but one lesson that I have learnt is the need for people to cultivate a culture of saving for a rainy day. As Nigerians, we should not always eat with our 10 fingers. Always take precautionary measures, stay safe and always wash your hands,” he added.
Terry Apala released a cover of Ed Sheeran’s hit single ‘Shape of You’ in April 2017.
The cover won him Best Music Cover of the Year (International) at the City People Music Awards 2017.
Terry won the Rookie of the Year at the 2016 The Headies Awards.
