Funke Kuti, ex-wife of Afrobeats star Femi Kuti, has joined their son Made in celebrating his new single ‘No More Wars,’ set for release on August 5.
Made announced the single in an Instagram post on Monday.
“I poured myself out for this one this one. New single dropping soon. Anticipate,” he wrote.
Promoting the single, Funke Kuti reposted Made’s announcement on her Instagram account, telling her followers to anticipate the release.
Captioning the video she reposted, the 50-year-old simply wrote: “Anticipate. 05/08/2020.
Made is the only son of the marriage between Femi and Funke Kuti.
The ex-couple remain inseparable despite ceasing to be husband and wife many years ago.
On his birthday, Funke Kuti thanked Femi for loving their son Made unconditionally.
“And just like that, you are 60!!!!! You don old o! Happy Birthday, Baba Mádé @femiakutiThank you for all you do. You are such an amazing man and father. Thank you for loving our son unconditionally. May God continue to Bless and Favour you now and always,” she wrote.
