Funke Kuti, ex-wife of Afrobeats star Femi Kuti, has congratulated their son Made on his engagement to actress Inedoye Onyenso.
Made who is currently on a vacation in Paris with Ineodye announced the enagagement in an Instagram post on Tuesday, November 2, where he posted a photo of an excited Inedoye showing off her engagement ring.
Congratulating the lovebirds in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Funke who could not hold back her excitement said she has gained a daughter.
She wrote: “My heart is full of joy! I gained a Beautiful Daughter!!! Congratulations to you both! May God guide you both as you embark on this Love filled journey. Love you loads.”
Born Omorinmade Kuti, Made is the only son of the marriage between Femi and Funke Kuti.
The ex-couple remain inseparable despite ceasing to be husband and wife many years ago.
On his 60th birthday, Funke Kuti thanked Femi for loving Made unconditionally.
“And just like that, you are 60!!!!! You don old o! Happy Birthday, Baba Mádé @femiakutiThank you for all you do. You are such an amazing man and father. Thank you for loving our son unconditionally. May God continue to Bless and Favour you now and always,” she wrote.
