Funke Kuti, ex-wife of Afrobeat star Femi Kuti, has congratulated their son Made on the release of his new single ‘No More Wars’.
Funke reposted Made’s earlier announcement on Instagram on Friday saying, “It’s finally here. No More Wars. Congratulations son Made Kuti.”
Born Omorinmade Kuti, Made released his debut album For(e)ward in 2021.
The 26-year-old is the only son of the marriage between Femi and Funke Kuti.
The ex-couple remain inseparable despite ceasing to be husband and wife many years ago.
On his birthday, Funke Kuti thanked Femi for loving their son Made unconditionally.
“And just like that, you are 60!!!!! You don old o! Happy Birthday, Baba Mádé @femiakutiThank you for all you do. You are such an amazing man and father. Thank you for loving our son unconditionally. May God continue to Bless and Favour you now and always,” she wrote.
