Funke Kuti, ex-wife of Afrobeat singer Femi Kuti, danced with her dad at her uncle’s 60th birthday party held over the weekend.
Videos from the party were uploaded on Instagram on Sunday.
In one of the videos, Funke is seen showing off her dance moves with her dad. In another video, her dad is seen displaying his dance skills in excitement while others cheered him on.
Captioning the video, Funke wrote: “And that’s my father! Yup 75+ Gen Brinmo super.”
The 50-year-old also uploaded another video of her uncle Ray Yusuf dancing to celebrate his birthday.
Captioning the video, she wrote: “60 what? We have plenty vampires in my family.”
Femi and Funke remain inseparable despite ceasing to be husband and wife many years ago.
On his 60th birthday, Funke penned down a message to Femi, thanking him for loving their son Made Kuti unconditionally.
Funke, a dancer turned event planer also described Femi Kuti as an amazing man and father.
“And just like that, you are 60!!!!! You don old o! Happy Birthday, Baba Mádé @femiakutiThank you for all you do. You are such an amazing man and father. Thank you for loving our son unconditionally. May God continue to Bless and Favour you now and always,” she wrote.
