Funke Kuti, ex-wife of Afrobeat star Femi Kuti, has celebrated Motunrayo, Femi’s sister and daughter of music legend Fela Kuti on her birthday.
Motunrayo made a series of posts on Instagram to celebrate her birthday on Friday.
One of the posts includes a video of her dancing a traditional attire as she ate her birthday cake.
Captioning the video, she wrote: “Happy birthday Motun.”
Funke Kuti who liked the post, also wished her former sister-in-law a happy birthday in the comment section.
“Happy birthday dearest Ano mi,” Funke wrote.
The management of the New Afrika Shrine also celebrated Motunrayo on its Instagram account.

Femi also reposted the birthday message on his Instagram account to celebrate Motunrayo.
Although Femi and Funke are separated, they remain very good friends and she is a regular face at the New Afrika Shrine where the former and their son Made Kuti play.
