Clergymen Femi Lazarus and Bolaji Idowu have joined several others in commiserating with the senior pastor of Daystar Christian Centre Sam Adeyemi over the death of his father Elder Stephen Adeyemi.
Pastor Adeyemi’s father died on July 19, 2024 in Ilorin, Kwara State capital. His death was announced by the family on Wednesday.
Commenting on the obituary published on Adeyemi’s Instagram page, Lazarus wrote, “My condolences sir. May baba’s soul rest in peace.”
Idowu said, “My condolences sir, may his soul continue to rest in peace.”
Author and social media influencer Japheth Omojuwa wrote, “Love and prayers to the family at this time. May baba’s soul rest in peace.”
Also, businesswoman and former chairperson of First Bank of Nigeria Ltd Ibukun Awosika condoled with the family. “My sincere condolences to you and your entire family. May the lord encourage you all. The memory of the righteous is truly blessed,” she wrote.
The Adeyemi family said burial arrangements will be announced shortly.
On June 30, Pastor Adeyemi penned a note on social media to celebrate his father’s 88th birthday.
The deceased is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
