Chairman of Forte Oil Plc, Femi Otedola, has informed Nigerians that he has his permanent voter’s card (PVC) ready for Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
The 56-year-old mogul uploaded a picture of himself holding the PVC to Instagram on Thursday.
“On Saturday, Nigeria decides! Ready to vote!” he wrote alongside the picture.
There was speculation last year that Otedola would contest the Lagos State governorship election on the Peoples Democratic (PDP) platform.
Celebrity publisher and PDP sympathiser, Dele Momodu, claimed in social media posts that sources close to Otedola confirmed to him that Epe-born billionaire had obtained an expression of interest form.
Otedola, who had earlier said he was not interested in occupying the position his father, Michael Otedola, held from January 1992 to November 1993, did not contest for the PDP governorship ticket.
