Businessman Femi Otedola on Friday recalled the days of being the largest ship owner for crude oil in Africa.
Mr Otedola flooded Instagram with pictures from his inauguration as president of the Nigerian Chamber of Shipping.
“Flashback Friday to April 21st 2005 (16 years ago), when I was the largest ship owner (oil tankers) in Africa,” he wrote.
“This day marked my investiture as the president of the Nigerian chamber of shipping.”
In the comment section of the post, Otedola’s first daughter Tolani expressed amazement, noting that the day coincided with her 19th birthday.
In December 2018, Otedola who was at the time chairman of Forte Oil Plc announced his decision to sell all his shares in the downstream business of the firm.
