Filmmaker Fidelis Duker and his wife Temitope on Sunday survived a car accident at an intercession in the Surulere area of Lagos.
According to reports, the car somersaulted several times before regaining balance.
Duker’s colleagues Paul Obazele, Emeka Ossai and Felix Duke took the couple to a hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.
The filmmaker has expressed gratitude to God for preserving their lives.
Duker is the founder and festival director of the Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF) which is the longest-running film festival in West Africa which has been on for 14 years.
He is also the chief executive officer of FAD FM, Calabar and former columnist with Qed.ng.
The former Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN) president has written, produced and directed several motion pictures.
Some of his movies include Not My Will, Scandals, Blood Brothers, Pure Love, London Blues, Senseless, Nemesis, Girls Next Door, Images, Eldorado, Hot Passion and Doctor Death.
