Nollywood director and screenwriter, Jade Osiberu, has announced that she will be getting married “in a few months”.
The Isoken director made the announcement in a Valentine’s Day tribute to her dad on Thursday.
“I’m getting married in a few months and I have never felt more like a Daddy’s girl. Buying me shoes, typing out the invitations himself, booking one of my all-time fav Nigerian singers (I’m an old soul) and generally being my personal champion (I joke that he’s my wedding planner). I’m not sure I have ever seen my Dad as excited about any of my milestones,” the 33-year-old wrote.
A graduate of the University of Manchester, Jade created Ndani TV, a pioneering content marketing platform for GTBank’s position as leaders of innovative banking in Nigeria.
She plunged herself into the Ndani TV project deploying her creative genius to initiate or collaborate with others to produce award winning shows like Gidi Up, The Juice, Rumour Has It Real Talk, The Juice and Skinny Girl in Transit.
In 2014, she was nominated for the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA for Gidi Up.
Her debut feature film is Isoken, the 2017 romantic comedy starring Dakore Akande, Joseph Benjamin, Funke Akindele, Tina Mba and Patrick Doyle among others.
