American pop legend Madonna has officially named Fireboy as the artiste to feature on the remix of her classic song ‘Frozen.’
A photo of the duo together had earlier sparked collaboration rumour.
Confirming the collaboration, the 63-year-old music icon took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to officially make the announcement.
Madonna wrote: “Frozen Remix song and video featuring @fireboydml. Music drops March 3rd………. Video soon after! #frozen.”
‘Frozen’ received acclaim from music critics, some of whom deemed it an album standout.
The single was also a worldwide commercial success. It became Madonna’s sixth single to peak at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, making her the artist with the most number-two hits in the history of that chart.
It also became her first single to debut at the top of the UK Singles Chart, while reaching number one in Finland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Scotland and Spain and others.
