Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Ibukun Awosika, has shared videos on Instagram in memory of her late father, Abdul Moshood Adekola.
Mr Adekola died on April 20, aged 87.
Mrs Awosika wrote on Instagram on Sunday that her siblings and her have been spending time reminiscing over their father and his life.
She wrote: “One of the things we love most about him, is his fun side and his love and pride in his girls. My youngest sister got married after we had lost our mum. She lives in America and her first pregnancy resulted in a set of twin boys. None of her sisters could go and stay with her to help her through the challenge of managing a set of twins for the first time.
“Our dad decided to go and support her through. We are all eternally grateful for his love and the grace with which he tried to fill the gap of our mother not being around . The clips above show my dad in a dance challenge with his daughters at the dedication ceremony of his twin grandchildren. Too many reasons to miss him. Have fun in heaven dad!!”
Born in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, Awosika is the third child of seven children.
She lost her mother in 2001.
