Nigeria’s financial powerhouse, FirstBank, will on August 3 premiere FirstStars, a reality TV show in partnership with EbonyLife TV.
The project is coming through the bank’s First@arts initiative.
FirstStars is a competitive reality show that gives young filmmakers who are actors, producers, directors, scriptwriters and art directors, the opportunity to show their creativity and skills to a global audience. They get the chance to win a cash prize as well as produce a feature length film.
It is designed to support the discovery and management of talented youth in the film industry.
The journey for the contestants kicked off in April 2016 when a call for auditions was made to up and coming actors, directors, scriptwriters, art directors and producers to share their skills and talents with a trained and experienced panel of judges- comprising of industry experts including Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.
