FirstBank treated winners of its #FirstBankIssaVybe with giveaway tickets on Sunday to see ace actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde as Esumirin in Moremi The Musical.
The stage play directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters also starred Bimbo Manuel, Kunle Afolayan, Lala Akindoju, Femi Branch, Bambam from Big Brother Nigeria, and Tosin Adeyemi as Moremi.
The play was based on the life of Moremi, one of the famed heroines of Yorubaland, who risked her life and sacrificed her only son to save Ile-Ife from marauders.
One of the winners, Princewill Pamo, expressing his love for stage plays, could not thank FirstBank enough for the opportunity.
“I’ve always been a fan of Nigerian theater and I’m so excited FirstBank was so gracious enough to give me a ticket (to the play); I really appreciate them,” Mr Pamo said.
All through December, FirstBank in a social media promo hashtagged #FirstBankIssaVybe and #DecemberIssaVybe, has been giving out free tickets to premium events in Lagos by getting followers of its social media handles to answer quizzes.
“The entire promo is awesome. It’s everywhere. The bank has been supporting plays, concerts this season by buying and giving out VIP tickets. It’s really a wonderful thing it’s been doing,” Pamo added.
