Nigerians are reacting sharply differently to the revelations by former first lady of Oyo State, Florence Ajimobi, over the treatment given to her late husband, Abiola Ajimobi, in his last days.
The widow had burst out in anger on Sunday when she received a delegation which included chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, at the Ajimobi’s residence in Oluyole shortly after her husband’s interment.
She berated the incumbent governor, Seyi Makinde, claiming that he abandoned his predecessor and did not reach out to the family even after Ajimobi’s death.
