Actress Foluke Daramola has denied the allegation that she ‘snatched’ her husband Kayode Salako from his former wife.
A Twitter user had claimed to have witnessed the incident which also made headlines years ago following Foluke’s demand for respect from youths.
Responding to the allegation on Thursday, the actress said in a video on Instagram that she is not an academic and never met her husband at the school.
She said, “I can’t be throwing stones at every barking dog. But it’s expedient I respond to this one. It’s only a dead person that cannot defend self I am not dead and I won’t die. Anybody who wishes me death will die first.
“First and foremost, I am not an academic. Everyone knows I am an actor so I don’t have any business whatsoever in Kayode’s school. I never knew my husband had a school when I met him. We met on civil society grounds – Change Agents of Nigeria precisely.
“I don’t know Kayode’s wife from Adam. We’ve never met. I’ve never had any confrontation with her.”
Foluke stressed that she is the only legal wife of her husband and admitted that Salako is a polygamist who has children with different women.
She also said the school in question was started by her husband’s relative and not owned by her husband’s ex-wife who left the marriage.
Foluke said that she and her husband were separated for over a year before coming back to make their marriage work, but she never attacked him on social media.
