Zainab, one of the wives of former Adamawa governor, Murtala Nyako, has died at the age of 63.
Mrs Nyako passed on in the early hours of Wednesday at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Yola after a brief illness at the age of 63.
LEADERSHIP reports that she was rushed to FMC after she collapsed on Tuesday at about 4:00pm and died at the hospital some hours later.
The master degree holder in education is survived by her husband, six children, her aged mother as well as 10 grandchildren.
Family source said she will be buried by 2:00pm at the Nyako family house in Yola according to Islamic rites.
One of Nyako’s other wives, Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja, could not sit on Wednesday because of the bereavement.
