Former child actor Opemipo Bamgbopa has celebrated her 30th birthday in grand style.
Opemipo, who rose to fame at a young age, shared a radiant picture of herself in a lilac gown on her Instagram page, marking her milestone with the caption, “This is 30!”
Her mother, Bose Joseph, also celebrated the occasion on Facebook, posting a video on Thursday and showering her daughter with praises.
She wrote, “On this day, September 5th, 1994, the Almighty blessed me with an unmerited bundle of joy… OPEMIPO CHRISTIANA YETUNDE ANUOLUWAPO OLUWAFUNMILAYO OPEYEMI… After a long, anxious period of labor, her voice finally resonated, a testimony that still echoes 24 years later as she continues to make her mark as an actor and as the first female Speaker of the Lagos State University (LASUSU-SPC)… By God’s grace, I am just a pencil in the hand of the Creator.”
Bose Joseph further expressed her gratitude in another post on Friday, thanking God and everyone who joined in celebrating her daughter.
“To God, for the life of OPEMIPO CHRISTIANA YETUNDE ANUOLUWAPO OLUWAFUNMILAYO OPEYEMI… we give all the glory. I also want to express my deepest thanks to everyone for your calls, wishes, gifts, prayers, and for staying with us in celebration over the past 30 days!” She wrote.
Opemipo Bamgbopa, who began her career as a child star, made history as the first female Speaker of the Lagos State University Student Union.
