Former Minister of Women Affairs Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye has featured in a new film alongside actress Regina Daniels and comic actor Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw.
The 51-year-old, who was appointed by President Bola Tinubu in August 2023 and relieved of her duties in October 2024, appears to have shifted her focus to filmmaking since leaving office.
Kennedy-Ohanenye was on Tuesday captured in a viral video dancing and sharing laughs with Regina Daniels on the set of the movie For This I Promise.
The light-hearted moment, which fans described as heartwarming, was filmed during a break in production.
Produced by Kenuj TV Production, the film also stars Osita Iheme and premiered on Tuesday via Uchenna Mbunabo TV. Fans have expressed excitement over the on-set chemistry among the cast, especially the unexpected appearance of the former minister.
