A former managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Ima Niboro on Saturday revealed he embarked on a weight loss journey and lost 40kg in three years.
Mr Niboro, a former spokesman of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, said in a Facebook post that although the weight loss journey was exhilarating, he was grateful to the person who inspired it.
“It’s been an exhilarating weight loss journey-from 2018 to 2021; from 125 to 85 kg,” he wrote.
“Diet. Discipline. Exercise. I’m grateful to that person that inspired it. That person who taught me that carbs, not fat, make us fat.
“It is an awesome life… let’s live it to the fullest, under this God that we serve!”
Niboro was Mr Jonathan’s spokesman before being replaced by Reuben Abati.
Now a member of the All Progressives Congress, Niboro was the director-general of Buhari Door to Door Campaign Organisation in the Niger Delta during the 2019 election campaign.
