Police in Turkey have declared a former Super Eagles player, Raheem Lawal, wanted for breaking a bottle on the head of a clubber during a fight.
Sports Extra reports that Lawal was sacked by his Turkish second division club, Fatih Karagumruk, after he was involved in a night club brawl in Istanbul.
“Karagumruk has fired Lawal, who is wanted by the police for breaking a bottle in a person’s head in a fight in a nightclub in Istanbul,” Turkish Football League said in a tweet.
The 29-year-old joined the club last summer after a long injury spell and has featured nine times this season before his sack.
The midfielder has seven caps for Nigeria.
