Jimmy Adewale Amu, popularly known as DJ Jimmy Jatt, has finally banished the ghost of the rift he had with Terry G earlier in the year by announcing the latter as one of the artistes performing at his highly anticipated show, Jimmy Jatt’s Jump Off.
Terry G, born Gabriel Amanyi, jumped into troubled water in June when he slapped one of Jimmy’s boys at a comedy concert tagged D’GOOD, D’BASH & D’FUNNY’ hosted by comedian Hammed Basheer, popularly known as Bash, at the MUSON Centre, Lagos.
A ban was subsequently placed on the Benue-born artistes by all deejays and on-air personalities in the country.
Fearing for what was left of his career, Terry G went with his tail between his legs to beg Jimmy Jatt and the assaulted DJ.
That move pacified Jimmy who had earlier demanded a public apology from the controversy prone musician.
Terry G will have another chance to make good at Jimmy Jatt’s Jump Off scheduled for Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 7pm at the Ikeja City Mall, Alausa.
This year’s edition of the concert is giving the Lagos Mainland audience a first taste of its yearly menu of electrifying entertainment since its inception in 2008.
