The delegates from 178 districts of the church across the country described the electoral process as transparent.
Jacob said the church’s constitution stipulates that the general overseer must secure a simple majority of the votes cast by delegates for the renewal of his mandate at the expiration of his first tenure.
In his remarks, Aboyeji expressed appreciation to the delegates for the peaceful conduct of the election.
The general overseer called for the cooperation and participation of all church members in performing his tasks.
